Assignment 08 - DOORS

Not completely done, but I started all over again so this was as much as I could accomplish in one week.

I've decided to completely start from scratch. I made a ton of mistakes the first time around and just wanted to start fresh with the lessons I've learned.

Assignment 1 - blocking.

I know it's not complete, like I left off the ceiling and a few walls, but I did it for sake of time management.
I design and build my own quilts and the second time around, my drafts looked exactly like my quilt drafts. It made it a lot easier to figure out.

Assignment 2 - Maya Models

I may reuse a few platforms and stairs from my old models, so this isn't a complete list.

So the premise of this is you are an energy harvester. Using stealth, you've managed to board this alien ship and you are trying to find what they power the ship with. You find the main room, figure out this platform puzzle, unlocking the engine room. Inside you discover the main source of power comes from a tree, and you decide to steal the seeds and bring it back to humanity for study. Maybe one day your cities can be powered by this tree, which is a big deal because your planet is a barren wasteland and there's no great alternative sources of energy.

ET15 ASSIGNMENT 07 Platforms & Elevators

You can't really see it in the video, but the hexagonal platform is kind of button, and it actually goes down once you jump on it, triggering the other platforms to start moving. I wanted them to keep moving, but even when I loop the sequence, they just return to their places.

ET15 Assignment 06 UVMAPPING CUSTOM MODELS

I didn't really get the hang of this until I did a bunch, so I'll definitely be fixing a lot of the issues in some of these. Strangely enough, I didn't really understand what I was doing until I started unwrapping my tree figure.
